Shamim Firdous conducts whirlwind tour of her constituency

SRINAGAR: State Women Commission, Chairperson and MLA Habakadal, Mtr. Shamim Firdous today conducted an whirlwind tour of her constituency including Baghwanpora, Babademb, Barbarshah, Naqashpora, Sathu Bala, Bilal Colony, Khayam, Nowpora, Banderpora and Hastal Mohalla and took stock of the on-going development works and other repair work of the lanes, by-lanes and other damaged roads etc.
The MLA also inspected the ongoing construction work of community cum facility centre at Baghwanpora, being constructed at the cost of Rs. One crore 2 lakh.
Mtr. Shamim, on the occasion, directed the officers accompanied with her during her extensive tour, asked them to complete all the development works within the stipulated time frame. She also released more Rs. 5 lakh for completing the repair work of the different lanes by lanes from her CDF fund.
The Chairperson was accompanied with the Engineers of PHE, PDD, SMC, LAWDA, R&B and other senior officers.
