Mumbai, Nov 20 The BSE Sensex on Monday slipped 139.58 pts to settle at 65,655.15 as selling was seen in Realty, Utilities, Commodities and Capital Goods stocks.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) declined 37.80 pts at 19,694.0.
The Sensex opened weak at 65,787.51, easing 11 pts. During the day it was lost 247 pts at 65,547.8 days low, before closing at 65,655.15, sliding 139.58 pts from its previous close.
The Nifty registered days high and low at 19,756.45 and 19,670.50 pts respectively.
The stocks include Commodities, Realty, Utilities and Capital Goods dragged the market.
In stocks, Commodities eased by 0.66 pc followed by Capital Goods by 0.43 pc and Realty by 0.33 pc.
The scrips that tumbled down were Bajaj Finance by 2.21 pc to Rs 7060, M&M by 1.96 pc to Rs 1553, Ultracemco by 1.51 pc to Rs 8672.85 and Bajaj Finserv by 1.08 pc to Rs 1597.75.
The gainers were Bharti Airtel by 1.73 pc to Rs 964, Wipro by 1.14 pc to Rs 399.90, HCL Technologies by 1.07 pc to Rs 1322.50 and Tech Mahindra by 0.51 pc to Rs 1210.45
