Security guard shoots self at DGP’s Jammu residence

Jammu, Nov 19 : A security guard posted at the residence of Director General of Police (DGP), Jammu and Kashmir Dilbag Singh sustained serious injuries after he shot himself with his service rifle on Monday.

Reports said that the guard identified as Subash Chander, shot himself with his service rifle at the DGP’s residence in Jammu, resulting in serious injurious to the guard.

The injured man was soon rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for the treatment where he is being treated now. Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the incident and further investigations are going on.
