JAMMU, APRIL 26: Secretary Tourism and Floriculture, Farooq A Shah today discussed the plan outlay for Floriculture Development in Jammu here at a meeting.
The meeting was attended by Director Floriculture Jammu, Deputy Director planning and Executive Engineer Floriculture Jammu.
The plan of Rs 8.93 cr has been framed to boost the floriculture sector in Jammu region in which one major state -of -the -art park at Bohr has to be completed by next year April. The park has a vast landscape of which one portion of 227 Kanal will be completed in the first phase. The secretary instructed the officers to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of different gardens and parks in the Jammu city for the convenience of the people and the tourists visiting tourists.
Farooq A shah said that the department would take all possible steps to make Jammu a city of flowers and gardens, which he said is the dream of Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir.
