Sajad Lone meets Narendra Modi

‘Anything is possible in future’: PC

New Delhi, Nov 10: Separatist leader turned pro-India politician and the son of slain Hurriyat leader Sajad Gani Lone Monday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Lone according to sources is all set extend its indirect support to BJP in Jammu and Kashmir where polling for the state commences on November 25 later this month.
Despite repeated attempts Sajad Lone did not respond to repeated phone calls. However, one of the Peoples Conference candidate on condition of anonymity confirmed to KMW that Lone met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.
“Sajad Lone had gone to New Delhi on Sunday morning. He interacted with different leaders of BJP and on Monday he met the Prime Minister of India,” he said adding that during the meeting Lone raised the issues pertaining to the development of the state.
The close aide of Lone further added that Peoples Conference Chairman also impressed upon the Prime Minister to extend helping hand to the flood victims of Kashmir. When asked is PC mulling to join hands with BJP, the party candidate said that,“yes, issues related to coming assembly elections were also discussed and I can tell you only one thing that all options are open and anything can happen in future,” he said.
