Srinagar, March 17: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon today said that Rs 494.74 crore has been released under Prime Minister’s Development Package for flood-hit households and traders across Kashmir valley.
Dr Samoon said that Rs Rs 494.74 crore has been released to fully damaged household families under Prime Minister’s Development Package, while as Rs 57.88 crore has been released to business establishments affected due to floods across Kashmir Valley under Chief Minister’s Relief Fund
Dr Samoon informed that under Prime Minister’s Development Package, money was released among the flood-hit families and affected traders in Kashmir.
Pertinently the development came after the State Administrative Council (SAC) which last week under the chairmanship of Governor, N N Vohra approved financial assistance under Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP) – 2015 for providing relief to people whose houses were damaged due to the floods of September, 2014.
