BARAMULLA, MAY 29: As part of the ongoing efforts to ensure a seamless and transparent electoral process, the Returning Officer for 1-Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency, Minga Sherpa today conducted a training programme for Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) at Dak Bungalow Baramulla.

This programme is a pivotal component of the preparations for the upcoming vote counting scheduled for June 4th.

The training programme was designed to thoroughly equip AROs with the essential knowledge and skills required to manage the vote counting process with precision and transparency. Emphasis was placed on strict adherence to the established guidelines and procedures, reinforcing the commitment to maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.

In his address, RO underscored the importance of accuracy and vigilance during the counting process. He urged all officers to perform their duties with the highest levels of professionalism and dedication to democratic principles. The programme featured comprehensive briefings on technical aspects of vote counting, including the use of counting software and the proper handling of electoral materials.
