Srinagar: In a series of startling discourses, the renowned human rights activist & Chairman International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Forum J&K  Ahsan Antoo after his release while talking to Kashmir Media Watch has warned the authorities of a fresh wave of agitation if political prisoners are not released immediately within a week.Ahsan also described the modus operandi of arrests done by J&K Police as amounting to kidnapping. “The J&K Police is simply taking a hold of person and virtually kidnapping them and shifting to far off jails without the knowledge of their family members and this is gross violation of human rights”, said Ahsan Antoo. He also stated that on personal level sometimes they feel that the senior pro-freedom leaders for not visiting them in jails but on a higher level you have to think that we all are facing an onslaught from the state so we should not have many grievances Ahsan Antoo while further exclusively talking to Kashmir Media Watch stated that International Committee for Red Cross (ICRC) has virtually failed to achieve any concrete thing on improving the overall human rights scenario in the valley. He also stated that many persons are being imprisoned without any fault of theirs and lamented what he termed the degrading human rights situation in the Kashmir valley.
