Mumbai, July 7 Shiv Sena spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut on Thursday slammed rebel Shiv Sena MLAs of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led group for not having a proper reason to leave the party.

Raut urged the rebel MLAs to decide the perfect reason for their revolt within party instead of giving reasons such as Hindutva or NCP not giving development fund.

He further said that on the advice of party president Uddhav Thackeray, Sena Thane MP Rajan Vichare will be the chief whip in Lok Sabha in place of Washim MP Bhavana Gawali. “We have submitted a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker and Parliamentary Affairs Minister.”

“Several rebels ministers have alleged that I have intervened in the affairs of Maha Vikas Aghadi government. However, I have always worked for strengthening the organisation and Saamna daily,” the MP added.
