Ramdev flown to Dehra Dun in pvt plane

New Delhi: After being evicted from Ramlila Ground last night, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev was flown to Dehra Dun this morning.
Ramdev landed in Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand, at around 1030 hrs along with a team of Delhi Police in a private plane.Ramdev was detained along with around his 100 supporters from Ramlila Ground last night, where he was leading an anti-corruption rally.Delhi Police detained him after firing tear gas shells and resorting to lathicharge on his supporters to end his fast on black money issue. Speaking to reporters last night, Delhi Police Commissioner B K Gupta said the permission was taken for gathering of about 5,000 people at Ramlila Ground, while the turnout was more than 50,000 which is why this action was taken.
