Rajnath talks tough on ceasefire violation

Bhopal, Oct 31 : On reports regarding ceasefire violation by Pakistan, Home Affairs Minister Rajnath Singh today said that the Indian Army is giving a reasonable response and “we have resolved that we do not desire peace at the cost of respect.”

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) bigwig’s comment was made during his address at the valedictory session of the Madhya Pradesh unit’s two-day Karyakarta Sankalp Adhiveshan in this City of Lakes.

“The predecessor Congress regime always spoke of waving the white flag in cases relating to recklessness on the border by the neighbouring country. The Congress asked the Army to remain quiet even after our soldiers were martyred. Now our Army is providing a fitting reply,” Mr Singh said.
