Rain washes out Champions trophy matches

AUCKLAND: Heavy rain has forced the abandonment of play on the second day of the Champions Trophy hockey tournament in Auckland.
Defending champion Australia was due to play Britain after both teams won their opening matches in Pool A on Saturday.
Germany and the Netherlands, who won their matches Saturday in Pool B, had also been drawn to meet Sunday, while Pakistan was to play Spain and hosts New Zealand were to face South Korea.
