LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan arrived at the Minar-e Pakistan where a very huge number of PTI workers, supporters have gathered for ‘Save Pakistan’ rally.
The gathering will be addressed by PTI Chairman Imran Khan. PTI officer-bearers Ahsen Rasheed, former Punjab Governor Mian Azhar, Punjab General Secretary Dr Yasmin Rashid and Lahore President Mian Mehmood ul Rasheed would also be present.
The PTI finalized arrangement for the public gathering which according to the party members would be the beginning of the change for the people of Pakistan, hit hard by corrupt and opportunist leaders.
The rally being held with ‘Save Pakistan’ agenda has also been termed a real test for the PTI which has also been struggling hard to find recognition as a mainstream political force in the country.
Sunday’s public meeting has also become a test for the PTI as it is being held just a couple of days after a rally staged by the ruling party of the province, PML-N.
The PTI leadership has stated that the rally will mark the beginning of the end for the corrupt ruling mafia.
