New Delhi: The President, Vice President, Prime Minister and the UPA Chairperson have greeted the people on the occasion of Milad-Un-Nabi, the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed tomorrow.
In her greetings, President Pratibha Devi Singh Patil expressed hope that the Prophet’s message of universal brotherhood, compassion, tolerance and service to humanity will guide and inspire the people to follow the path of harmony.
Vice President Hamid Ansari said that Prophet’s teachings of love, humanism, righteousness and tolerance continue to be a source of spiritual strength for all humanity.
The Prime Minister in his message said that Prophet’s life and work is an inspiration to lead a life of compassion and brotherhood.
Sonia Gandhi said that the Prophet had a deep love for the entire humanity and all should pledge to preserve his ideals for a better tomorrow.
