Prayagraj violence mastermind Javed’s house bulldozed

Prayagraj, June 12 Following the Friday prayer violence in Prayagraj, the house of alleged mastermind of this incident – Javed Mohammad alias Javed Pump – in Khuldabad police station area, is being demolished with a bulldozer.
The Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) on Saturday completed the formalities to demolish Javed’s house, located in Atala Chowk area of Khuldabad and started bulldozing the outer wall of the house at around 12 pm on Sunday.
Javed was taken into police custody on Saturday.
Two bulldozers of PDA started the process of demolishing Javed’s two-storey house and demolished the outer wall of the house. The demolition process was stopped for a while in view of the apprehension of presence of some people inside the house.
Police and PDA officials entered the house to ensure that no one remained inside. Meanwhile, the house items were also taken out with the help of labourers.
PDA, alleging that the house was being constructed and encroached without taking necessary approval from them, pasted the notice at Javed’s house on Saturday, asking to vacate the same by 11 am on June 12.
On the request of PDA, the district administration had deployed Rapid Action Force (RAF) and one company of Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), besides policemen of several police stations.
Apart from other officers of PDA, senior officers of district administration and police have also reached the demolition site.
