Pranab to resign from Finance Minister’s post

New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, the Congress-led UPA’s Presidential candidate, will resign from his post today.
He will file his nomination papers for the Presidential poll on June 28.
”It was a farewell meeting with the CWC with whom I had a long association,” Mr Mukherjee told reporters after Congress Working Committee meeting yesterday.
The CWC met at the residence of Congress president Sonia Gandhi to congratulate Mr Mukherjee.
