Srinagar, January :The Jammu and Kashmir People’s Political Party (PPP), Chairman, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War has called for a shutdown in Maisuma, Gaw Kadal, Lal Chowk and other adjoining areas on 21 January to mark the 22nd martyrdom anniversary of Gaw Kadal Martyrs.

War said that the Kashmiri nation would not allow go waste the sacrifices rendered by the people for this pious and righteous cause.
“The massacre in Gaw Kadal was replicated in Handwara, Zakura, Bijbehara and at many other places in Kashmir,” he said, adding that “The 21st Jan 1990 laid the strengthened of Tehreek or freedom movement in Kashmir and the best way to pay homage to the martyrs is to keep their mission and dream alive,” (KMW News)
