Srinagar: A person from Himachal Pradesh working at the Power Development Department in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district was found dead in his room, police said today.
Gayan Chand, a resident of Chamba in Himachal Pradesh, who worked as a technician at Power Grid Station in Baramulla, was found dead in his room at Khawajabagh near Degree College Baramulla, a police spokesman said.
He said proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated to investigate the cause of the death.
Meanwhile, one person was killed in a road accident in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, he said.
