Police seek help to trace missing girl in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jul 3(KMW):  Jammu and Kashmir police has sought help to trace a teenage girl from Punjab, missing from Monday evening in Srinagar, a police spokesman said.

The spokesperson said on Tuesday that one Rajeev Kumar, resident of Gurdaspur, Punjab, lodged a report in police station Raj Bagh that he and his family members were staying in a Hotel Mehar at Raj Bagh, Srinagar. However, his daughter Muskan alias Gudiya (17), who went out from a hotel at 1700 hrs on Monday, did not return and is missing since then.

He said a case has been registered and a massive hunt has been launched to trace her.

Seeking help from the common people, police said if anybody has any information, he may kindly inform the nearest police station
