Sopore, April 26: Continuing its efforts to root out drug menace from society, Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Sopore and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A police team from Police Station Sopore and PP Fruit Mandi, intercepted a vehicle (Load Carrier) bearing registration number JK05M-9529 at Vijbal crossing with two persons on board. During search, 203 grams of charas-like substance was recovered from their possession. The accused has been identified as Mohsin Manzoor Soliha and a lady (name withheld), both residents of Arampora Baramulla.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 66/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation has been initiated.
