PM, Sonia meet ahead of Cabinet reshuffle

New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi held a meeting here this morning ahead of the expected Cabinet reshuffle on Monday.
Although officially nothing was given out about the meeting, sources said it was held mainly to give final touches to the list of Ministers.
The reshuffle, expected for some time now, was necessitated by the resignation of Union Textiles Minister and DMK leader Dayanidhi Maran after he was implicated by the CBI in the 2G Spectrum scam Union Minister A Raja has already resigned.
