Patna, May 9 Leader of the opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav on Thursday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not talking on real issues like price rise, unemployment and he was triggering debate on Hindu Muslims in ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
Yadav during his interaction with media persons here, while responding to a query on a report indicating that the Hindu population fell by 7.8 percent and the Muslim population increased by nearly 5 percent from 1950 to 2015 in the country, said it was just an attempt of Narendra Modi government to trigger another debate on Hindu-Muslim. The census was scheduled to be carried out in 2021 but it was delayed, he pointed out and asked who was to be blamed.
” Without a census, how can anyone accept the fact that the Hindu population decreased and the Muslim population increased”, the leader of the opposition
said adding that Prime Minister Modi was not interested in talking about real issues in his campaign in ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Despite his promise, two crores of jobs were not given to youths every year since 2014 while the price of all commodities had also increased alarmingly, he stated.
” Prime Minister Modi had promised special status to Bihar but no word on the issue was heard in his speeches during campaign in the state”, Yadav said and asked Prime Minister Modi to talk on real issues of public interests in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, instead of diverting attention of the people.
The leader of the opposition said that Prime Minister Modi had promised to give Rs 15 lakhs each in bank account of every poor but
whether any of them got it. No one was speaking lies like Prime Minister Modi , he remarked.
