PDP worker shot dead in South Kashmir

Anantnag, Aug 19: Unknown gunmen shot dead a political worker in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

The deceased whom Police identified as Ishaq Parray, son of Abdul Gani, of Ugjan village of Dialgam was allegedly affiliated with ruling People’s Democratic Party.

A police official said that gunmen barged into his house and resorted to indiscriminate firing. He was shifted to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
