BANIHAL: Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Devender Singh Rana said that the PDP would disintegrate much before 2014 elections because of the fissures within the party, intra party contradictions and lack of ideology. He said the tall claims of the PDP and its leadership that they shall be forming the next government in the state is infact a reflection of their frustration and a desperate attempt to sell false dreams to their party men in a bid to somehow keep their flock together which is already fragmented and is just waiting for the right opportunity to desert the party.

Rana said PDP’s hunger for power is well known but the people’s mood is different and they can see their political machinations and shall make them meet their waterloo in 2014.
“The crowded stages and empty public stands in the PDP gatherings are a reflection of people not accepting their negative politics”, said Rana, while addressing a five hour long party workers meeting at Banihal here today. He said 2014 will be a waterloo for all those who propagate deceit, lies and deception and will be the triumph of truth, integrity and secular ideology.
The Political Advisor said J&K National Conference has passed through many difficult times, but emerged victorious every time. He said there are elements, who want to weaken the party, but they always fail in their nefarious designs because the people of the state have always stood with the J&K National Conference and have given befitting reply to divisive forces whose aim is only to somehow be in power and disturb the secular fabric of the state which the National Conference is committed to protect and uphold.
Rana urged the people of the state that they should make an independent assessment of the present generation of leadership in the state and when they do that without any bias, they will realize Omar Abdullah is the only one who is much above others, who is upright, sincere and honest and is committed to the people of the state.

Rana said that the innovative, befitting and historical initiatives taken by Omar Abdullah-led coalition government for the overall development of the state itself speak of their efficacy as these have been recognized throughout the country and the PDP’s propaganda cannot eclipse these glowing initiatives taken by the Omar-led Government to empower the common man at the grass root.
Rana said coalition between National Conference and Congress is not for power but is based on ideological synergy and secular principals to strengthen the diverse, cultural and religious character of the state and it should be the endeavour of all the party men to work for strengthening it at all levels.
Addressing the meeting Provincial President J&K National Conference Rattan Lal Gupta said that Omar Abdullah led coalition government has chalked out a comprehensive plan for the overall development of the state especially of remote and far flung areas. He said during the last more than three years of the coalition government under the leadership of Omar Abdullah has kick started many developmental projects and laid out many developmental plans to be carried out in the next coming years.
He called upon the party rank and file to work unitedly and strengthen the hands of the party and its leadership and take programme and polices of the party and the government to every door step.
Sajjad Shaheen, District Secretary J&K National Conference District Ramban-Banihal while addressing the party workers thanked the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Dr. Farooq Abdullah for extending all possible support to the party workers in Banihal.
Among others who were present in the meeting Brij Mohan Sharma,ex-MLC, Dr. Chaman Lal Bhagat, Anila Shaheen, Mirwaiz Atta Mohammad Katoch, Abdul Rashid Mahnas, Nisar Ahmad Sohail, Abdul Haimd Sheikh, Sapranch Reyaz Ahmed Mir, Sarpanch Tocha Singh, Abdul Jabbar Hajjam, Madan Lal Raina, Ch.
