PDP-BJP owe an apology: Congress on Masarat Alam

New Delhi, April 16: The Congress Party on Thursday rebuked the PDP-BJP Government in Jammu and Kashmir for giving so much freedom to separatist Masarat Alam and demanded an apology for his release from the Baramullah Prison.
The Congress alleged that both the BJP and the PDP were guilty of creating an environment that ‘undermines India’s unity and integrity’.
“First, they release separatists and allow this to happen. This government must apologise, both in Kashmir and at the Centre and take action,” said Congress spokesperson Anand Sharma.
“The PDP-BJP governments have created an environment which undermines India’s unity and integrity. Anti-India activities under the law cannot be permitted,” added Sharma. (Agency)
