Senior State Congress leader Yasir Pandit while paying the rich tributes to the 13 July Martyrs said that the best way to offer tribute to the martyrs was to work for strengthening the principles of moral values and democracy. He said martyrs will continue to inspire coming generations to live a dignified life and struggle for justice and rights.
Pertinently, more than 22 men were shot dead by the soldiers of Kashmir’s Dogra ruler on July 13, 1931, after the people of Kashmir rose against the rule of the Maharaja and demanded their rights.
