SRINAGAR, MARCH 17: Advisor to Governor, Parvez Dewan Thursday said that government is keen to provide all basic facilities to public besides resolve their issues on priority here today.
While meeting different delegations, Mr. Dewan said government is working hard to reach out to people and ensure effective and efficient administration at the door steps of people.
He said the aim of public Darbars is to ensure that less people visit Jammu secretariat to pursue their cases besides redressal of day to day matters.
During the public Darbar, the Advisor gave patient hearing to the issues and demands put forth by the public and gave on spot directions to the concerned authorities for timely redressal of the public grievances.
During the Darbar several delegations including members of NYC, Physical Education graduates, Political migrants, Employees of various departments, deputations from Eidgah, Shah Mohalla, Humhama and members of Adventure Tour Operators Association put forth issues of service matters, compensation, SROs, employment and other pertaining to their day to day affairs.
