Srinagar, May 24: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory under the Leituant Governor Manoj Sinha is likely to give series of relaxation in the Coronavirus related lockdown from the first week of June, 2021.

It is worth mentioning that like different parts of India including Jammu and Kashmir are witnessing tough lockdown in view of brutal second wave of Coronavirus that has killed Lacs and infected crores.

Sources stated that the partial relaxation would be given in the overall lockdown especially in the terms of overall lockdown measures in Jammu and Kashmir.

Tourism and transport sector are worst hit in the Jammu and Kashmir region due to this lockdown as they have been hit hard since past three years.

With the decreasing number of cases of Coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir and also slight decline in daily deaths and experts predicting more less case load in coming days the relaxation in the lockdown are going to be more softer.

Essential services are to be given priority in these relaxations.
