Pakistan will not abandon Kashmiris: Fazl

ISLAMABAD: JUI-F Chief and Chairman of the Kashmir Committee, Mulana Fazlur Rehman said Friday that Pakistan will not abandon the people of Kashmir in their time of need, Geo News reported.
According to a press release issued by the Kashmir Committee, Mulana Fazlur Rehman strongly condemned the recent statement by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in which he advised Pakistan to forget the Kashmir issue.
Rehman said that the Indian government issues statements of their own interest and the Indian Prime Minister is not aware of ground realities.
He added that the Kashmir issue is of international importance and the Indian Prime Minister’s statement was reflective of our government’s weak policies.
