Jammu/Chandigarh: There was no improvement in the health condition of Pakistan prisoner Sanaullah Ranjay, who was attacked and critically injured by a fellow inmate in Jammu’s Kot Bhalwal jail. Sanaullah is in coma and his condition is critical, sources at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research(PGIMER), where he is under treatment, said.
He was brought from Jammu and admitted to Advanced Trauma Centre of PGIMER on May 3. Since then, there has been no improvement in his condition, sources said. Sanaullah is on life support system. His sugar level is fluctuating. Oxygen supply has been increased following dip in blood pressure.
According to CT scan reports, he had suffered multiple fractures in his skull. There was no improvement in his neurological status. PGIMER neurosurgeon S N Mathuria and in charge of Advanced Trauma Centre Y K Bahara are attending on Sanaullah. His relatives have entered India through Wagah Border and will reach PGIMER by the afternoon. (Agency)
