ISLAMABAD, Aug 19: Pakistan Friday strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Van, Bitlis, Diyarbakir and Elazig in Turkey, in which a number of people, including security personnel, were martyred and injured.
“We extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the brotherly Government and people of Turkey and to the bereaved families. We also pray for the speedy and full recovery of the injured,” said a statement of Foreign Office Spokesman here Friday.
He said Pakistan was in “abiding solidarity with Turkey as it wages a valiant struggle against the scourge of terrorism.”
“We have no doubt that the fraternal people of Turkey would decisively defeat the evil of terrorism with their resolute will and unshakable determination.”
The Government of Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, it said.
