Pak violates ceasefire truce in Poonch

Jammu: Pakistan troops in yet another ceasefire violation fired small arms on Indian posts in Krishna Ghati Sector along the Line of Control in Poonch district.

“Pakistan at 2100 hrs last night opened fire at forward Indian posts in Nangi tekri area of Krishna Ghati Sector in Poonch,” official sources here today said.

They said that intermittent firing lasted for few minutes adding, “we retaliated positively.” He however, said no incident of injury or damage to any property was reported.

Pakistan also fired small arms yesterday on Pansar post along the Indo-Pak international border in Hiranagar Sector of Kathua district.
