The exchange of fire lasted for over 10 minutes. However, no reports of any injury were received.
“Pakistan Army violated the ceasefire agreement by attacking Ballad forward post in Ramgarh sector of the district this morning. They opened fire with machine guns at our positions without any reason. This is a ceasefire agreement violation,” BSF spokesmen, Vinod Sharma said.
“Our men returned the fire. The exchange of fire lasted for 10 minutes,” he added.
