New Delhi, September 11(KMW): The 70th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was observed with solemnity at the Pakistan High Commission, New Delhi. The officers and staff of the High Commission offered Quran Khawani for the esal e sawab of the Father of the Nation.
Rich tributes were paid to the vision, fore-sightedness and unflinching resolve of Quaid-e-Azam, which culminated in the successful struggle for freedom and creation of Pakistan as an independent and sovereign state.
High Commissioner Sohail Mahmood stated that the Quaid’s principles and vision served as the guiding lights for the grateful nation. He added that the leadership and people of Pakistan remained dedicated to building Pakistan in line with the Quaid’s vision of a modern, progressive, democratic, Islamic welfare state.
Special prayers were offered on the occasion for a strong, stable and prosperous Pakistan.
