Jammu: In yet another ceasefire violation, Pakistan fired heavily including LMG on forward Indian posts in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, official spokesperson here today said.
“Pakistan troops violated ceasefire truce late last night by firing heavy arms, LMGs and automatic weapons on Indian posts in Krishna Ghati area of Poonch,” the spokesperson here told.
The firing started at around 2205 hrs and lasted for one hour while the Army also retaliated and about 1800 rounds were fired.
“No incident of any injury or damage to any property was reported in the firing,” the spokeserson said.
Earlier on September 11, Pakistan fired heavily on Indian posts in Nangi Tekri area of Poonch.
