PAF playing commendable role in fight against terrorism: President Mamnoon Hussain

ISLAMABAD, June 16: President Mamnoon Hussain said Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was playing a commendable role in the fight against terrorism, as it has thwarted nefarious designs of anti-state elements and the “dark forces”.
This was stated by the President in a meeting with Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman who called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The President said the PAF has laid down an effective operational doctrine for the nation’s air arm to meet any challenge at any time.
President Mamnoon lauded PAF for maintaining highest standards of skills and vigilance to ensure aerial defence of the motherland.
Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman briefed the President about various matters relating to PAF, a statement from the President House said.
