One Militant killed Rajpora encounter

Srinagar: One militant was killed in an encounter with police and Army at Yachgoose, Pulwama.
Acting on a specific information about the presence of militants in village Yachgoose in the jurisdiction of Police station Rajpora, Srinagar Police alongwith Pulwama police and 53 RR laid a siege of the area.
Militants holed up in the village fired upon the search party that was retaliated. One militant who was later identified as Javed Ahmad Deedad was killed in the ensuing encounter. One pistol was recovered from the slain militant.
