On Republic Day, Indian Army unveils artistic initiative “Kargil Kaleidoscope”

Kargil, January 26: On Republic Day, the Indian Army unveiled a one-of-a-kind artistic initiative titled “Kargil Kaleidoscope”, which features a stunning 0.6 km-long artistic canvas made from recycled CGI sheets along NH1A.

The project, aimed at celebrating the rich local culture of Kargil, was painted by Team Stringmo, a group of talented local girls, under the guidance of the Indian Army.

The initiative was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, a senior ranking officer of the Indian Army, who dedicated the artwork to the people of Kargil. While addressing the gathering, the chief guest praised the creativity and dedication of Team Stringmo and assured them of continued support in their future artistic endeavors.

Speaking on the occasion on behalf of the team, Zaibun Nissa the General Secretary of Team Stringmo expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for their unwavering encouragement and for providing the platform to showcase local talent.

As a mark of appreciation, the Indian Army felicitated all the artists of Team Stringmo for their remarkable contribution. In turn, Team Stringmo presented their exquisite paintings to the chief guest and other army officials.

The event concluded with an engaging interaction session between dignitaries, artists, and officials, fostering a sense of collaboration and community.

The “Kargil Kaleidoscope” initiative is a testament to the spirit of unity, creativity, and respect for the local culture, reflecting the strong bond between the Indian Army and the people of Kargil.
