POONCH, JUNE 17 (KMW): Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of Legislator and former Minister, Ch. Mohammad Aslam who passed away this morning after a prolonged illness.
According to a statement issued to KMW, The Chief Minister visited the residence of Late Ch. Aslam in Lassana Surankote, consoled the bereaved family, expressed his solidarity and sympathy with them, offered Fateh and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Omar Abdullah also attended the Nimaz-e-Jinazah of the late leader among hundreds of others.
The Chief Minister highlighted the stupendous role of Late Ch. Aslam as the political stalwart and social activists and said that he will be remembered always for his service to the people.
