Omar chairs Cabinet meeting at Machil, Approves transfers and postings

MACHIL: The Cabinet which met here under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah approved the following transfers and postings in police department.
Mr. V. K. Singh, IPS, IGP, awaiting orders of adjustment after repatriation from central deputation has been posted as IGP, Training/CIV, PHQ vice Dr. Kamal Kumar Saini, IPS.
Dr. Kamal Kumar Saini has been transferred and posted as IGP Railways J&K against the vacancy caused due to retirement on superannuation of Mr. Abdul Qayoom Manhas, IPS on 31-08-2012.
Mr. Satish S. Khandare, IPS, DIG, awaiting orders of adjustment after his repatriation from central deputation is posted as DIG, CIV, PHQ vice Mr. Shakeel Ahmad Beigh.
Mr. Danish Rana, IPS, DIG, Traffic, Jammu has been transferred and posted as DIG, Rajouri-Poonch range vice Mr. M.K Sinha, IPS whose services have been placed at the disposal of CBI for posting as DIG on deputation basis.
Mr. Shakeel Ahmad Beigh, IPS, DIG, CIV, PHQ, has been transferred and posted as DIG traffic, Jammu vice Mr. Dansih Rana, IPS.
The cabinet also approved the promotion of Ms. Nasreen Khan, senior most Deputy Director Archives, Archeology and Museums presently attached with Government College of Education Srinagar, as Director Archives, Archeology and Museums J&K on officiating basis for a period of 6 months.
The cabinet also approved the transfer of state land measuring 108 kanals and 09 marals situated in village Khour, Akhnoor for establishment of Degree College there. (KMW News)
