Official falls in Vigilance Net

Srinagar, March 11, KMW: Vigilance Organisation Kashmir registered a case FIR No.18/2015 at P/S VOK against Mohammad Shafi Shah the then Assistant Manager JKPCC Unit-XI Kulgam, on the outcome of verification conducted by Vigilance Organisation Kashmir regarding accumulation of disproportionate assets by indulging in corrupt and illegal practices.
The verification reveals that assets found are disproportionate to his (suspect) known source of income. Thus omissions and commissions on the part of the above mentioned public servant constitute offences punishable U/S 5(1) (e), r/w 5(2) J&K P.C.Act Svt.2006 and further investigation taken up.
