Jammu: National Panthers Party (NPP) Sunday called on the people of Jammu particularly the youth and students from all walks of life and social and political disciplines to continue the Jammu Bandh till Governor rule is imposed by suspending the Assembly.
In a joint statement NPP leaders Prof Bhim Singh, Harsh Dev Singh, Balwant Mankotia, Yashpal Kundal, Sayyed Rafiq Shah, S Daljit Singh, Anita Thakur, HC Jalmeria and Bansi Lal Sharma also appealed to the people of Jammu particularly the youth and students to keep communal harmony intact at all costs because that is the backbone of the national integrity.
The NPP leaders including Prof Bhim Singh and all legislators are scheduled to visit Kishtwaron Tuesday to study the situation, a spokesperson of the party said.
