Srinagar: There is still no trace of a 21-year-old Kashmiri Pandit youth who was missing from his house in south Kashmir district Anantnag since April 4.
Official sources said here today that Divisional Commissioner Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon visited the residence of a missing Kashmiri Pandit boy Susheel Raina son of Badri Nath Raina at Chandrigam Aishmuqam in Anantnag.
He assured his parents that all possible steps have been taken by the District Administration to trace the missing boy.
They said Susheel left his residence on April 4 to collect his marksheet of B A Ist year from Degree college Khanabal.
But he did not return and despite massive searches his whereabouts were not known, they said.
A complaint was lodged in police station Ashmuqam on Anantnag- Pahalgam road
.
Meanwhile, the Kashmiri Pandit Sangarsh Samiti (KPSS) has again appealed to member of majority Muslim community to help trace Raina, who along with his other family members stayed in the valley when the members of the Pandit community migrated to other parts of the country.(UNI)
