Ankara, July 1 Turkey has no plans to start a war with Greece, though Athens violates Turkey’s airspace, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday.
“We do not have such a problem to start a war with Greece. But Greece does not stick to its words. They violated the airspace 147 times,” Erdogan told reporters, adding that Ankara is not considering this option yet.
Erdogan also said that Turkey and Russia were working on organizing negotiations between the countries’ presidents.
“Our friends are now working to organize negotiations with both … Putin and … (Ukrainian President Volodymyr) Zelenskyy. We will hold talks on the re-escort of agricultural products. There are countries that have problems, we can help,” Erdogan told reporters.
