Srinagar: No guest from Pakistan-administered-Kashmir (PaK) arrived here while only one Kashmiri crossed over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC) today.
Official sources said no PaK guest arrived here today.
However, 20 Kashmiris, who had crossed over to other side of LoC in previous buses, returned here after completing stay in PaK.
They said a Kashmiri crossed over to other side of LoC at Kaman post, the last Indian military post in Uri sector to meet his relatives separated in 1947.
The arrival of PaK guests declined mainly due to harsh winter in Kashmir.
So far only seven PaK residents had visited the Kashmir valley during 2012 while 92 Kashmiris met their relatives across the LoC.
The weekly Karvan-e-Aman bus service, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of PaK, has helped thousands of families divided in 1947 to meet each other since the introduction of the service on April 7, 2005 when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh flagged off first bus from here. (KMW NEWS)
