Nizamia Education Group (NEG) marked a grand scholarship programme for scores of students at SKICC Srinagar.
Maqsood Ahmed, Managing Director and founder of Nizamia Education Group (NEG) inspiration for today’s generation welcomed the August gathering and honorable guests.
It is worth mentioning here that Nizamia Education Group is a hope for vulnerable and poor students of the country.
Maqsood, CEO Nizamia Education Foundation stated: “Today we have education leaders from ten states here .I welcome all guests to the programme. Nizamia started as private limited company under ministry of corporate.
a decade back . We have branch in North eastern states, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar and Jharkhand. NEG thinks that fees of universities, colleges is high for many students so we cater to needs of students facing diverse economic challenges. We conduct Scholarship tests for all students. 115 students from Kashmir we selected via scholarship and it is for students who can’t afford. We have in our vision for coming year for Jammu and Kashmir five thousand students we wish to provide scholarship to them.”
Eminent young singer Waqar Khan illuminated the programme with his sensational diverse programme.
Coordinator Nizamia Mudasir Yaqoob and broadcaster Ashfaq Lone anchored the programme .
Esteemed Guest Srinagar Municipal Commissioner Athar Aamir Khan lauded the efforts of Nizamia Education Group for providing much needed education support to weaker economic section students and helping them achieving dreams. He urged youth to work hard with right gestures and never lose hope while on path towards excellence.
Shahid Wani from Nizamia threw light on vital contribution of Nizamia Education Group, and how it has helped bright students from vulnerable sections to achieve their dreams.
Dr. Gupta from BIS group of colleges, Moga Punjab lauded Nizamia Education Group for great efforts in the education sector of the country. He termed esteemed Dr. Maqsood as role model for educationists and entrepreneurs who changed future of countless students towards betterment. Dr. Gupta made it clear we can’t have stronger nation without educated youth. He said Nizamia has lent great contributions in improving the gross enrollment ratio of the country.
Shri Sh. V.K Singh, IPS, Commandant General HG/CD/SDRF J&K, Chief Guest on the occasion made excellent observation and appreciated the work and efforts of Nizamia.
He stated “It is great feeling to be part of this great gathering and I was invited by honorable Maqsood founder Nizamia Education Group but it turned reverse as he became my inspiration. Only having good inspiration can take students forward and showing apt resilience especially in these covid times.”
Social activists Guftar Ahmad and Mansoor Ahmad also saluted the role of Nizamia Education Group in promoting education in Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the country.
