NC stages walkout over harassment of Kashmiri ahead of Jan 26

Jammu, January 23 (KMW): The opposition National Conference members on Tuesday staged a walkout from the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly over the alleged harassment to the people of Kashmir ahead of January 26.
Soon after Speaker Kavinder Gupta took the chair, the opposition members started shouting against the government for caging Kashmir.
NC Legislator Ali Mohammad Sagar told the house people are being harassed by forces and the valley has been turned into a prison.
He said people are not allowed to move freely and forces are carrying out searches at many places.
He also lashed out at the government for using force against the students in Srinagar who were protesting against the Kashmir university authorities for error in their result.
Later the NC MLAs staged a walkout from the house.
