NC delegation meets Governor

SRINAGAR, JULY 15: A National Conference delegation, comprising its sitting and former Legislators, led by Mr. Ali Mohd. Sagar, MLA Khanyar, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The delegation appealed for Governor’s intervention in normalising obtaining disturbed situation and raised grave concern about the pellet injuries suffered by the Youth. The delegation also demanded urgent action for provision of adequate medical care for the injured persons.
The delegation also highlighted other concerns and problems faced by the people in different parts of the Valley, including the non–availability of essential commodities.
The delegation comprised Mr. Mubarak Gul, Mr. Mohammad Akbar Lone, Ms. Shamima Firdous, Mr. Showkat Hussain Ganie, Dr. B.A. Veeri, Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather, Mr. Nasir Aslam Wani, Ms Sakina Itoo, Mr. Ali Mohd. Dar and Dr. Mustafa Kamal.
Assuring attention to the issues raised, the Governor urged the National Conference leaders to play a positive role in the peaceful resolution of all outstanding problems.
