Tehran: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that Nato is moving on the same path as the dictatorial regime of Muammar Gaddafi but they hide the their intentions.
“It seems that the Libyan nation will have to wage a new war, [and this time] against the colonialists because occupiers are currently dividing Libya’s resources and wealth among themselves,” IRNA quoted Ahmadinejad as saying on Sunday.
The Iranian president added that “instead of showing this (plundering Libyan wealth), Nato- affiliated media air clashes in Libya” in order to hide the reality.
“All nations have the right to be free, be dignified, have a national government and experience justice but when occupiers enter the affairs of nations the possibility of attaining these [rights] becomes zero,” Ahmadinejad said.
He said that Nato had decided to advance east a decade ago in order to revive imperialism with new slogans.
Ahmadinejad urged everyone to remain vigilant and know that there is a difference between Nato and Zionist intervention, and seeking freedom and justice as well as independence.
