National Conference leader shot dead in Kashmir

Srinagar: In Jammu & Kashmir, an unidentified gunman shot dead a local leader of ruling National Conference and injured his wife at Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday. Sources said, the gunman barged into the house of Ghulam Mohiuddin Bhat at village Pinglish last night and resorted to indiscriminate firing killing Bhat on spot and injuring his wife Hasina. After the incident, police launched search operation in the area to trace the attacker.
